New adventures in Fashion Design

Hey guys! I've been super-busy these last few weeks with work, cranking out Wresting Gear after our bi-annual rush period, sorting out existing Shirt orders and generally having life happen, but I've been cracking on with my Fashion Design and released four new designs to the Etsy Store!

[★] Tie Dye Pink/Purple Cosmic Chaos Shirt

First off, my favourite from the whole new batch! This is probably the most challenging, time consuming and detailed Shirt I've produced so far and began life as a plain white blank before I did some Mad Science on it and took three days to make with my shifts at work. It was dyed Flamingo Pink before being scrunched in the "Spiral" position to be gently immersed in Intense Violet and then extensively washed and dried to make sure the colours didn't run. It was inspired by some Space-themed graffiti I drew in biro a few years ago and features aliens, spaceships, ray guns, planets, stars and galaxies in two-layer vinyl prints. Available in the Etsy store in S, M, L, XL, XXL & 3XL.

[★] Rainbow Marijuana Leaf white vest top

This was quite fun to do, and mostly consists of salvagings from my scrap box. My Rainbow Hologram Hash Leaf shirt has gotten quite popular, and I wanted to do a Women's similar version before experimenting with fabric markers. "Don't touch the Moon Clover" is on the back in black. Available in the Etsy store in 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 & 18.

[★] Angel Fish Light Reactive Pleochroic black vest top

This was another "Let's have a rummage in the Scraps box and see what we can come up with" design. I love how it turned out - the Angel Fish are Spectrum vinyl which reflects all hues of the rainbow in different angles of light. Features "Don't touch the Moon Clover" is on the back in hot pink. Available in the Etsy store in 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 & 18.

[★] Rainbow space Planets tumble sparkle stars black vest top

An update on the Unisex Planets Shirt I used to offer. FeaturesPlanets in Red, Flouro Orange, Hot Pink, golden Yellow, Apple Green, Purple, Sky Blue and Royal blue and is adorned with Spectrim stars which reflect all of the hues of the rainbow in different angles of light. "Don't touch the Moon Clover" is on the back in hot pink. Available in the Etsy store in 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 & 18.

Hope you like!

D O U B L E . C H O C O L A T E . B A I L E Y S . B U N N Y . M U F F I N S

YOU WILL NEED:

275 g Plain Flour
25g Cocoa Powder
3 Teaspoon's Baking Powder
150g Sugar
75g Butter (Melted)
150ml Bailey's
3 eggs (Beaten)Vanilla Essence
200g White Chocolate (Chopped)
200g Milk or Dark Chocolate (I used Cadbury's Wholenut)
Optional: 5 Hobnob biscuits, Pinch of Cinnamon,

[★] Preheat Oven to 200C. Sift the Flour, Cocoa Powder & Baking Powder together in a bowl. Add the Sugar and stir together.
[★]  Add the Melted Butter, beaten Eggs, Vanilla Essence, Bailey's and Optional: Ingredients and mix together. Stir in the Chopped White Chocolate.
[★]  Spoon into cake cases (I made 15 with this recipe!) and bake for 18-20 minutes until well risen.
[★] Melt the Brown Chocolate in a bowl over a pan of boiling water and drizzle over the cooled cakes.
[★]  I drizzled some leftover White Chocolate over the Brown for contrast and added Mini Eggs and little rabbits I'd made from Ready-to-Roll white icing ^.^

M E R M A I D S !
I had a Splat day last week with Sue being away and took a break to adorn my sketchbook with some funky colours! I quite like the one above, and gave her opaque fins and suckers down the front of her tail to contrast with her rainbow hair and black eyes. She's probably the most tropical one that's jumped out of my head so far ^.^

A Selkie! She's plainer, chunkier and much less colourful than the Mermaids but is more good-natured, practical and modest.

An Orca Mermaid! I had Killer Whales and polar icebergs on the brain when I started her.

This one got scarier as I started colouring her in.
She's a Plague Mermaid - lives in the Dark and see's nothing but the Future and can't speak to tell it.
When I eventually (Ha-haaa!) finish the Romance Story I've been working on for three years, I'd like to illustrate each new Chapter with a full-page plate before the Story resumes.

E L I S S A B A T
I treated myself to an Elissabat a few weeks ago and only got the chance to unbox her properly last night. She is bloody gorgeous! It's lovely that Monster High have released Dolls already in their ambitions rather than not quite getting there yet, plus I've been waiting a while for a Gothic-Lolita styled one ;) If they release a Monster High Wrestler Doll, I'll be over the Moon :D

Shelf is getting a bit full again...no? ;)

S E S S I O N S . I N . T H E . S U N
Put together Twylla's outdoor run this morning and had her out for a few hours in the Sun this afternoon whilst I drew for a few hours. Gonna take some tunes out next time and maybe have a spare Bunny-sitter so I don't need to pack up everytime I need the loo - haha!

She doesn't look impressed, Bless her!

Phew - That's all for now!

Donning my "Mad Science" blue labcoat - erractic and excited behaviour as standard - I had a first attempt at Tie-Dye yesterday with Dylon's Flamingo Pink & Intense Violet, and was quite pleased with the result. Also found that bleaching a black shirt into a tie-dye pattern and attemting to dye the bleached bits DOES NOT WORK - will have to buy seperate black alongside another colour for these and good job I have a mighty stash of white Gidlan shirts that have been sitting around doing nothing until now. I used the "Spiral twist" for these and even though it's not as prominent as it usually is, that was okay because it might have otherwise distracted from the front print I spent most of yesterday working on, when I wasn't stirring my Cauldron in the Kitchen and cackling...

Super Insane happy proud of this one and made an XL for myself (Modelled below by Jennifer - poor lass, all she wants is a quiet night & a cuppa, and definately *NOT* me dragging her around and dressing her up!) I nearly got emotional once they were both finished - who knew that a little lass from Wingate could make anything that looked *THIS* Good:

Both are up in the [ ETSY SHOP ] @ £14.99 each!
Can't wait to experiment with Blues & greens and new silhouette plates for more Sea Life, but gotta drag my little cheeks over to Sukiwear for the rest of the evening on the new batch of orders ;)

Jellyfish, Butterflies & Weed

Three new designs up in the [ ETSY SHOP ] today!
★ OOAK Purple Butterfly Wing Long Sleeve Shirt Size 10 Fitted Long-sleeve featuring front tribal flame & star design in metallic purple and hot pink. Back features metallic purple Butterfly wings with matching hot pink accents. This was one of a few shirts I designed for a New Age shop that opened locally but sadly had to close before we were able to offer our designs there.

★ OOAK Black Jellyfish & mirror bubbles white Long Sleeve Shirt size 8 White Ladies Long-sleeve featuring a lone black Jellyfish surrounded by silver mirrored bubbles. I have a stash of long-sleeves (Either really Small or really Large) left over in the Stock Cupboard from back in the day when ASDA used to supply them, and I'm planning on using up the last few ones I have left from the old pool before I source a new Long Sleeve supplier.

★ Rainbow sparkly hologram Hash Leaf Shirt.Available in the usual Unisex sizes (Small - 3XL) - Poor Jennifer was swamped in this one!

Messing around with Bleach, Fabric Dye & Acrylic paints tomorrow...
